Vicinity Media 10 Year Celebration Social Media Competition
This competition starts on 30 October 2024 and ends on 18 November 2024.
- This competition will run on Vicinity Media’s social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook).
- Eligibility: Participants must be based in South Africa to enter and claim any prizes.
- Social Media users who wish to enter the competition have to repost the competition post on their LinkedIn timeline, mention/tag two of their connections/friends/followers in the comment section of the competition post, and send the answer via direct message on the channel they are entering on, to Vicinity Media.
- Participants have 24 hours to answer each question.
- From 30 October 2024 to 13 November 2024, questions will be posted on Vicinity Media’s social media pages.
- Only those who repost the competition post on their LinkedIn timeline, tag two connections/friends/followers in the comment section, and answer the question correctly stand a chance to win.
- Only one entry per participant will be accepted.
- Those who repost the competition post on their LinkedIn timeline, tag two connections/friends/followers in the comment section, and send the correct answer first will be the winner of the day that they entered.
- Winners will be contacted via the platform they entered on and will receive a form that they need to fill in with their contact information and delivery details.
- By entering this competition, participants give consent to being mentioned and tagged on Vicinity Media’s social media platforms. Any photos shared by the participants with Vicinity Media (e.g., receiving competition prizes) may also be shared on Vicinity Media’s social media pages.
- Winners will receive their prize before 31 December 2024.
- The prizes will be chosen by Vicinity Media and will be delivered to the winner based on the delivery details provided by the winner.
- It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure that they supply Vicinity Media with the correct delivery details.
- Only one prize per winner will be allocated.
- The winners will automatically be entered into the final grand prize competition.
- They will receive communication from Vicinity Media with instructions on how to enter.
- Participants must share their location and find the Vicinity Media ad on Vicinity Media partner publications on 18 November 2024.
- Once they find the ad, they need to send a screenshot of it to Vicinity Media.
- The winner will be notified telephonically by a Vicinity Media representative.
- The first person to send a screenshot of the ad will win a cash prize of R 10,000, which will be paid into the winner’s account.
- It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they provide the correct banking details to Vicinity Media.
- Vicinity Media will attempt to contact the winners and grand prize winners three times within a 72-hour period on the provided contact details.
- Should Vicinity Media fail to make contact with the winner(s) after this time, the winner(s) will forfeit the prize, and iMasFinance reserves the right to redraw a new winner under the same conditions.
- If a prize winner is unable to provide delivery/banking details, does not want the prize, or cannot be contacted, a re-draw for a new winner(s) will take place under the same rules.
- No Vicinity Media, Location Bank, or Gorilla Creative Media employees (both permanent and non-permanent), relatives, representatives, suppliers, or contractors are allowed to participate in any Vicinity Media competitions, unless advised otherwise.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The competition panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Vicinity Media reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances outside of its control arise.
- Vicinity Media reserves the right to publish the names and pictures (when possible) of competition winners in publications, digital (social) media platforms, the website, and other mediums.
- Vicinity Media may process personal information and share pictures when announcing the winner on its website and social media platforms.
- Vicinity Media reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend, or cancel this competition and any prizes, terms, and conditions, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that Vicinity Media reasonably deems necessary.
